We currently have an opening in our corporate office in Leawood, KS, for an INTERNAL AUDIT STAFF/SENIOR reporting to the Internal Audit Manager who reports to the Director of Internal Audit [both based at our corporate office in Leawood, KS, USA]. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position.

 

Job responsibilities:
  • Assist in the identification, documentation and evaluation of the company's IT, financial and operational internal controls.
  • Perform various audits (Sarbanes Oxley IT/Financial and Operational) at corporate and subsidiary locations. Work would include interviews/walkthroughs, audit testing, and documentation of results/deficiencies.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of general IT controls and exposure to financial controls and processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of board quality audit reports to Audit Committee and members of senior management.
  • Work directly with Audit Director and Audit Manager/Seniors to report results of audit reviews and testing.
  • Work with external auditors on the Sarbanes Oxley review.
  • Up to 50-75% travel throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia Pacific.
Required and Desired Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years’ experience in public or internal audit with emphasis on both IT and Financial audit
  • College/university degree or equivalent; IT/MIS/Accounting/Finance degree a plus
  • Prefer a candidate with both IT and Financial Audit experience
  • International and/or financial services industry experience a plus
  • Big 4 experience preferred; CISA/CIA/CPA certification a plus
  • Fluent English required; other languages a plus
  • Strong quantitative, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills; written, oral and presentation
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to execute and deliver under challenging circumstances
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Will consider candidates with IT or Financial Audit experience, but prefer an individual with both

Business Systems Analyst

We currently have an opening in Leawood, Kansas, for a BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position. The Business Systems Analyst will be part of the Operational Tools team supporting Finance and Operations functions in Euronet entities worldwide. The team has a responsibility to develop and administer operational tools used to manage our global EFT business. The Business Systems Analyst will play a key role in managing existing tools, ensuring data quality, and in assisting in new systems development.

Job responsibilities:
  • Act as data steward for one or more applications:
    • Ensure processes are completed in a timely manner
    • Ensure metadata tables are complete and accurate
    • Ensure data contained in systems meets quality specifications
  • Train and support users worldwide
  • Develop and provide subject matter expertise
  • Troubleshoot errors in existing processes and applications
  • Develop and maintain technical and operational documentation
  • Assist in building functional and technical requirements for new systems
Required Qualifications:
  • University or College degree in business, finance, or technology (MIS degrees preferred)
  • Detailed understanding of SQL (Microsoft TSQL preferred)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience
  • Basic knowledge of database design and/or operations
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written, other languages (especially Polish or Hungarian) are desirable
  • Project and time management skills
  • Ability to understand technical issues from a business perspective and vice versa
  • Ability to work with offshore development and virtual teams
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours as needed
  • Ability to travel internationally, up to 10 trips per year

Job responsibilities:
  • Develop internal tools for change management processing
  • Perform technical maintenance within the change management system on a regular basis to ensure databases used in distributions and point release packaging are up to date
  • Develop and test modifications required to meet the bi-annual mandate requirements of the international card associations
  • Provide support to customers (both internal and external) during the installation of Mandates and Point Releases, including troubleshooting and remediation of custom programs
  • Serve as 2nd and 3rd level support for both internal and external customers for production issues
  • Modify existing programs to resolve problems or add functionality
  • Follow the change control process to ensure that version control is maintained on all programs and files
  • Research assignments and document all changes and enhancements and comply with the programming standards and other policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in Software Development
  • Programming experience with the following:
    • RPG400, RPGIV and using Free, and SQL experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Senior International Tax Specialist

We currently have an opening in Leawood, Kansas for a Senior International Tax Specialist reporting to the International Tax Manager. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position. There is 15-20% international travel required.

Job Responsibilities
  • Obtaining and developing calculations and documentation necessary to prepare and support FAS 109 tax provisions.   Candidate will obtain source documents from within the company and utilize past tax experience and analytical skills to prepare book to tax adjustments.  
  • Preparing journal entries, in both USD and foreign local currencies, as part of the consolidated world-wide FAS109 tax provision on a legal entity basis and ensure proper presentation in financial systems.
  • Preparing tax provision to tax return reconciliation and related adjusting journal entries.
  • Analyzing non-U.S. general ledger accounts related to tax and preparing roll-forwards of deferred tax accounts.
  • Providing guidance to non-U.S. finance personnel regarding U.S. GAAP treatment of tax related issues.
  • Assisting in continuous improvement efforts related to the efficiency and effectiveness of the non-U.S. tax accounting functions.
  • Managing various projects with outsourced service providers related to non-U.S. tax compliance and advisory services as necessary.
Required & Desired Qualifications
  • Required: A minimum of 4 years tax experience in public accounting or a multinational corporate environment, at least 2 of these years working in International Taxation to be successful in this role.
  • Required: Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and FAS 109 tax accounting.
  • Required: Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Required: Strong Microsoft Excel and Access skills.
  • Desired: CPA
  • Desired: Proficiency with OneSource TaxStream software.
